Guidance Counselors

🌟 Welcome from the Counselors

Welcome to the Counselor’s Corner at Ricardo Richards Elementary School!

As your school counselors, we are honored to support our students, families, and staff in creating a school community where every child feels seen, heard, and valued. Whether we're working with a kindergartener learning to navigate friendships or a sixth grader preparing for their next big step, our goal is the same: to nurture confident, compassionate learners who are ready to lead.

At RRES, we believe in the power of early support to shape bright futures. Our work is grounded in our school’s mission: to spark curiosity and foster holistic growth through engaging learning experiences. We’re proud to contribute to a learning environment that lives out the vision of inspiring life-long learners and future leaders.

Through individual check-ins, group sessions, classroom guidance, and schoolwide initiatives, we are here to help all students succeed—socially, emotionally, and academically. We also partner closely with families, teachers, and community organizations to ensure that support extends beyond the classroom walls.

Because here at Ricardo Richards, we believe wholeheartedly:

"Learners Today, Leaders Tomorrow!"

With care and commitment,

Ms. Khema Loving & Sherma Albert-Ferdinand
