The Ricardo Richards Elementary Cross Country Team made a triumphant return at the 2025 Inter-Scholastic Championships, winning Gold in the Boys’ Division and securing 3rd place in the Girls’ 1-Mile Race. Led by MVP Elijah Wynter and standout runners Ezekiel McIntosh and Jamal Rogers, the boys delivered a dominant performance, with newcomer Andre Merchant playing a key role. Despite losing four top athletes from last year, the girls’ team, anchored by Jahzara Bolougne and Eliza Lundgren, exceeded expectations with a strong podium finish. Coaches and teammates celebrated the results as a powerful redemption story and a testament to the team’s resilience.
