What a way to close out the Girls' Elementary Basketball season!
The young ladies of the Leonard Dober and Yvonne Bowsky Elementary schools did not disappoint the crowd that gathered at the Winston Raymo Center on November 1 for an exciting game of championship basketball. In a tight ballgame, it came down to 15 seconds left in regulation time with the score Bowsky 12 Dober 10. Yemeli Rodriguez (Dober) took the ball to the hoop and scored, tying the game up with three seconds left and sending the game into Overtime.
Qy'sha Benjamin (Bowsky) and Rodriguez took it to each other's team with their best efforts. Good game on both ends.
